Cuisine Wine Country

Cuisine magazine published Cuisine Wine Country annually, covering wine-producing regions throughout New Zealand.

I designed and illustrated a series of pages for the publication, using maps to give each region a clear visual identity. The work involved simplifying the geography, organising a lot of information and finding a balance between illustration and practical map design.

The maps covered wine regions around the country and were designed to work comfortably within Cuisine’s editorial format.
