Genesis Energy

Genesis Energy commissioned a series of information panels for the entrance foyer at Huntly Power Station, using schematic diagrams to explain the station and its operation to visitors.

ID8 proposed large-format printed acrylic panels, the largest 3.5 metres long, and developed the technical illustrations for audiences ranging from primary school students to engineers.

The work involved close collaboration with onsite engineers to simplify complex plant and processes without losing technical accuracy. The challenge was to achieve the right balance of clarity, accessibility and detail.
